Panerai – Submersible Azzurro 42mm PAM01209

Panerai has launched the new Submersible Azzurro 42mm PAM01209 in a limited edition of 500 pieces, available only on the brand’s e-commerce platform.
“Azzurro” refers to the color of the ceramic ring applied to the rotating bezel, but it is also reminiscent of the colors of the Italian team’s sports uniforms. It’s no coincidence that the latest episode of Pamcast’s digital platform is dedicated to the “Spirit of Italy” (to learn more about the Pamcast project, read our interview with Panerai’s CEO Jean-Marc Pontroué).

The new case is made of 42mm stainless steel and features a unidirectional rotating bezel, an opaque blue Panerai Submersible Azzurro 42mm ceramic disc, a screw-down case back and the iconic bridging mechanism to protect the crown. The luminous hands, hands and dots glow in green-blue tones for easy underwater legibility.
The preferred movement is the P.900 calibre, entirely designed and developed by the Panerai manufacture in Neuchâtel. It beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour and combines a date function with a three-day power reserve.

Water-resistant to 30 bar (approx. 300 meters / 990 feet), the new Submersible Azzurro 42 mm has a black rubber strap with a trapezoidal pin buckle with brushed steel. A second black Sportech Velcro strap is also included, as well as a tool for replacing the strap and a screwdriver for removing the buckle.

Panerai Luminor Due 3 Days Titanio 42mm watches

Much to our satisfaction, we have seen smaller watches re-emerged over the past few years. Even Panerai, known to be on the large side, has been downsizing its iconic design, with its 42mm Luminor Due, which is now offered for the first time in a handsome, light-weight titanium version. We go hands-on with the slender PAM00728 or Panerai Luminor Due 3 Days Titanio 42mm.

The elegant Panerai Luminor Due was introduced back in 2016, providing a dressy option in the Italian maker collection. The 42mm Due retains the classic, iconic Luminor styling but in a smaller, thinner version. The case has a great balance. It is superbly shaped with Panerai Luminor Due 3 Days Titanio 42mm its signature bridge protecting the crown and drilled lugs. It is unmistakably Panerai but different. It is slender, sitting just great under your cuff and it wears super comfortable, which is especially true for the lightweight titanium version. Not to mention the look that is simply stunning – at least for those who like Panerai watches…
Like the first 42mm editions, the new Panerai Luminor Due 3 Days Titanio PAM00728 version feels tough and sleek at the same time. The brushed finish of the case has a gorgeous understated lustre and adds an attractive contrast to the polished bezel. The titanium version is rated water resistant to 30 meters, which is pretty disappointing for a brand famed for crafting rugged dive watches – although this would not affect the use of most people, Panerai could have shown a bit more zeal and provide a 100m water resistance, just to be in line with their reputation.

Under its slightly domed sapphire crystal, the PAM00728 is equipped with a blue “sandwich” dial with a deep, gleaming sunburst finish – a perfect match with the pink gold colour hands and the cold tint of the titanium case. Luminescent material allows for excellent legibility in the dark, as always with the signature “sandwich” dials of the brand.
Turning the watch over, the exhibition case back reveals the hand-wound P.1000 calibre, manufactured in-house and introduced in 2015. Operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour (or 4Hz), this modern twin-barrel movement can store up to 3 days of power reserve. The overall look feels robust: it features three bridges, including a transversal balance bridge with adjustment screws for greater precision in critical tolerances. 26.8 mm in diameter and 3.85 mm thick, it is made of 152 components including 21 jewels. Nothing exceptional but a good-old manual movement. The Fake Watches finishing of the movement is done in a clean,Fake panerai contemporary look, which feels coherent with the watch’s overall styling.
A practical function, the stop seconds also resets the small second’s hand for precise adjustment. In terms of display, Panerai kept it simple, as this Panerai Luminor Due 3 Days Titanio PAM00728 remains a time-only watch, with hours, minutes and small second. No date or power reserve to obstruct the dial.

Panerai – Luminor Blu Mare 44 mm PAM01085

As an innovative watchmaking company, Panerai is known for designing watches that combine traditional art with modern technology. As a result, its soft and distinctive aesthetics are very popular. The Panerai Luminor and Panerai Radiomir are the best examples of their highly acclaimed watch designs!
Following the launch of the self-winding Luminor Marina PAM 01313 with a blue dial last June, Panerai now presents the hand-wound Luminor Blu Mare 44mm PAM01085. The “Blu Mare” (meaning (“Blue Sea”) Italian name clearly indicates the brand’s maritime heritage.
The 44mm x 13.05mm case is made of replica Panerai watches AISI 316L steel and features a patented crown protector reminiscent of the famous Panerai models of the 1990s.
The dial is protected by a sapphire crystal and decorated with a sardine motif, while the hour and minute hands are rhodium-coated. The fonts used for the numerals at the base of the dial are a further reference to late 20th century models. They have been etched like a linear refractive index and then filled with green Super-LumiNova to ensure greater clarity and longer readability in low light conditions.

The twelve-sided brushed steel caseback hides the in-house produced P.6000 movement, which replaces the old Unitas-based OP XI movement. The hand-wound movement beats at a frequency of 3 Hz (21,600 vibrations per hour) and offers a three-day power best replica watch pro forum reserve, thanks to the double-bridge support regulator and the Incabloc shock-absorbing device, which makes this movement particularly robust.
The new Luminor Blu Mare 44 mm water-resistant material, which can withstand pressures of up to 10 bar (approx. 100 metres / 330 feet), is made from a blue calfskin strap with beige stitching and fastened with a pin buckle made of brushed steel. Traditionally, the strap is fixed to the lugs by means of a Panerai screw system.

First Look: Panerai Luminor Marina Fibratech 44 PAM01663 debuts new fibre material

For 2020, Panerai is debuting not the Luminor Marina 44 format, but two new materials. The Panerai Luminor Marina Fibratech 44 PAM01663 makes its debut in a case made of mineral fibers fused from basaltic rock. Yes, you read that right.
Brand: Panerai
Model: Luminor Marina Fibratech 44 PAM01663
Size: 44mm wide, 15.65mm thick
Water resistance: 30 bar (300 m)
Case material: DMLS titanium case, Carbotech bezel, crown and tie rods
Crystals/lenses: sapphire crystals obtained from corundum
Movement: Panerai P.9010, 200 parts
Frequency 4Hz
Power reserve: 3 days
Strap/bracelet: Panerai Sportech, additional rubber strap

As Panerai explains, Fibratech is “made of unidirectional mineral fibers produced by the fusion of basaltic rocks. These fibers bonded to the polymer become thin layers that are superimposed in precise directions and then cemented by a process of pressure and temperature control.” How the watch feels on the wrist has yet to be determined by a “wrist time” assessment.

The brand seems excited about this high-tech discovery and could be the next Panerai Fibratech watch. The Luminor Marina FibratechTM (PAM01663) was apparently one of the first products to be introduced. This is interesting because, as a rule, the high-tech materials used in the large luxury watch industry are still components reserved for “halo pieces” best replica watch pro forum rather than materials designed for long-term, serious production, even if the latter are actually used to truly prove the value of innovation rather than the lofty claims made in press releases. Here’s hoping for more Panerai works using proprietary materials.

Panerai has demonstrated the ability to put more novel parts into more conventional production, and the Panerai Luminor Marina Fibratech 44 PAM01663 is a good example. The bezel is made of Carbotech, a multi-layered carbon composite that the brand has been using on the exterior of its watches in recent years. This time, Carbotech was also used as a joystick for the top bridge – certainly a clean touch.
Sandwiched between the gradient blue dial, which is all the rage these days, and the microblasted titanium back, the Panerai Calibre P.9010 offers a three-day power reserve, supplemented by a self-winding rotor. The operating frequency to match this extended power reserve is the modern 4 Hz rate, which makes the 72 hour reserve even more impressive.

replica Panerai Titanium Luminor GMT Watches

The America’s Cup 2020 picture looks very different after its first two events (Italy and England) were canceled due to the pandemic, but this did not prevent Panerai from continuing its collaboration with Team Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli, the whose inaugural home regatta was unfortunately one of the victims of cancellations. To the best replica watch pro forum Carbotech submersible variant presented at SIHH last year, the new stealthy titanium PAM1036 with DLC coating is added, a Luminor GMT model that once again adheres to the black and red stealthy colors of Luna Rossa and uses the same textured dial made with the sails of one of the Luna Rossa AC75 racing boats.
Brand: Panerai
Model: Luna Rossa GMT (ref. PAM1036)
Dimensions: 44 mm.
Water resistance: 300 meters
Case material: DLC coated titanium
Glass / lens: Sapphire
Movement: Panerai P.9010 / GMT (internal automatic)
Frequency: 4Hz
Energy reserve: 3 days
Strap / Cuff: Includes both the Panerai rubber strap and the Ponte Vecchio calfskin strap

Like last year’s submarine, the textured surface of the sailcloth of this reference, combined with the hourglass architecture that characterizes Panerai, produces a super cool aesthetic that is not only different from any Panerai to date, but also different from any other America’s Cup partnership watch I know. Personally, I have always liked the elegant and functional watches for boating that arise from the numerous partnerships in the world of watchmaking with the America’s Cup sailing teams, although I would like the America’s Cup brand – and above all the edition or the year in which the partnership is celebrated – was relegated to the background. In this particular case, the bottom of the box already has many decorations (including an engraving of an AC75 monohull sailboat) that contain all the data necessary for the association, so why must it also be on the dial?

In short, from an aesthetic point of view, I would still have much more interesting editions of Luna Rossa than the Panerai series prepared for the 35th America’s Cup. Like last year’s submarine Luna Rossa, Panerai’s 44mm titanium Panerai cases are also extremely light and comfortable , and here you have the added benefit that it is a dual time clock. By the way, let’s not forget that the internal movements of the Panerai P.9000 series have an independently adjustable hour hand, making it a perfect watch for traveling, or for sailing on a very expensive yacht between multiple time zones. Once again,

All in all, from an aesthetic point of view, I would still consider the Luna Rossa editions decidedly more interesting than the series prepared by Panerai for the 35th America’s Cup. Like last year’s submarine Luna Rossa, Panerai’s 44mm titanium cases are also extremely light and comfortable, and in this case they have the advantage of being a double time clock. By the way, let’s not forget that the internal movements of the Panerai P.9000 series have an independently adjustable hour hand, which makes it a perfect watch for traveling, or for sailing on a very expensive yacht between multiple time zones. Again, the price of the PAM1036 Luna Rossa GMT
